The HBA Bucks/Montgomery has a variety of committees that members are welcome to participate in.  HBA committees address needs specific to the associations programs and activities, as well as issues affecting members’ businesses.  Email mpappas@hbahomes.com to sign up for a committee or to receive more information.

 

Associates Council

Develop and implement programs to provide networking opportunities among builders and associates. 

Budget & Finance
2nd Thur. at 10:30 a

Prepare HBA’s annual budget and monitor the associations finances.

Education
2nd Thur. at 8:15 a

Produce & market education and training programs for HBA members.

Charitable Foundation
2nd Wed. at 8:30 a

Raise funds for the foundation and conduct charitable works.
 

Industry Action
4th Wed. at 12 Noon

Monitors public policy issues critical to our members’ livelihood, such as zoning, land development, DEP & DOT regulations, building code interpretations, and defends a pro growth agenda.

Maintain a state registered Political Action Committee and support candidates who support  housing.

Sales & Marketing

The council develops and implements programs to increase the skills and professionalism of members involved in sales & marketing within the residential home building industry, and to recognize their excellence.

Raise awareness and facilitate practical approaches to green construction.

Technical Education
4th Wed. at 8:00 a

Develop and implement programs to promote and foster closer ties with the local Technical Education Schools.

Housing Council

The Council represents the business interests of our members who are working in the active adult market as well as assisted living, independent living, and other 50+ housing products.

Housing Council

The Council supports HBA members through education and information on the issues that  face the multi-family development industry.
